CAUTION: Change the positive lead to the “A” socket before selecting current (Amps).
This is the only time when the multimeter will be used in series. Power is ON when measure current.
1. Measure the current through the LED that indicates power on/off. (13mA red, 10mA green, 9mA other).
2. Measure the current through the push-button. (LED turns on, current is less than 1mA)
3. Measure the current drawn into the collector (NPN transistor) when the button is pressed and released. (start at 10mA red, 7mA green, 6mA blue, fade to 0mA)
