Continuity
Select the continuity position on the multimeter (use the diode symbol for testing LEDs).
Power is OFF when using continuity and testing diodes.

1. Check for continuity between the 220R resistor and LED. (beep)

2. Check GND (ground) connection between LED and 10uF capacitor. (beep)

3. Check that positive leads on LED and 10uF capacitor do not have continuity. (no beep)

4. Use diode mode to verify that the LED is functional. (LED should light up very dim)
