Steps to Complete
Part One: The Power of Digital Footprints
( Common Sense Education)
(45 minutes)
- Warm-Up – Every Time Online-watch video and discuss a Digital Footprint is and how being online can be different than in person.
- Analyze – Hire a Host – In groups look at the online presence of two candidates for a job.
- Take a Stand – Truth Be Told – Decide the fate of the two candidates.
- Wrap Up – Your Digital Footprint
Part Two: Home Sweet Hmm…
(Minecraft)
(1 hour)
- Go through a PowerPoint slide show that talks about online safety.
- Students individually go through the Minecraft world “Home Sweet Hmm…”
