FEATURES:

  • Built in Accessibility Feature in iOS on iDevices
  • Set up on all District iPads
  • Needs to be  turned on under Settings > General > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Turn on Speak Selection > turn on Speech Controller
  • Tap the Arrow icon to bring up the toolbar
  • Expand the controlled and press play to start reading
  • Expand the controller and tap the finger icon to start speaking on touch
  • Drag controller anywhere on the the screen
  • Text-to-speech for reading web content, buttons, menus or any apps with text capability
  • Reads selected text aloud
  • Works in different languages including French
