Building Bridges / Bâtir des ponts is a photocopiable current events resource, published in English and French, for students in grades 5 through 7 (Level 1).

This publication aims to build understanding of current events that impact Indigenous Peoples and all Canadians.

Teachers can now access all issues with one login (no more waiting for issue passwords). Please do not share as the passwords are for teachers only. You will now have to email the issues to families as needed/desired.

Create your teacher account at https://app.seesaw.me/ using your sd71.bc.caemail address
Connect your account to NIDES:
- Once you are logged in, click on your name on the top left, and then at the bottom of the menu that opens click on ‘Select Your School’
- Select ‘Navigate NIDES’
- You’re ready to create your class, add students (new and returning), and access info for new families
