CoPilot-Who I Am: Self Description
I am Microsoft Copilot, an AI-powered conversational assistant based on the GPT-4 architecture. My primary function is to assist users by providing information, answering questions, and helping with various tasks through natural language conversations.
How I Can Be Useful in Education
- Personalized Learning: Tailoring content to individual student needs and learning styles.
- 24/7 Availability: Offering support anytime for students and teachers.
- Accessibility: Enhancing learning through text-to-speech, translations, and support for differences.
- Resource Finder: Suggesting articles, videos, and tools to enrich lessons.
- Administrative Help: Assisting with scheduling, email writing, and student data management.

Microsoft Copilot is the LLM (Large Language Model) of choice in SD71 because it ensures student safety with enterprise data protection, does not use chat data to train external models and provides seamless access through the Single Sign On method through Edge – no extra usernames or passwords to remember.
HOWEVER, it is important to note – this is for educators ONLY. The age restrictions for use is 18 years of age. Additionally no personal or private information is to be used when creating prompts – create anonymous or fictitious names in the prompts.
