Code Quest Arcade 2025

Welcome to the Comox Valley Schools CodeQuest Virtual Arcade!

Students across the district have been working hard to learn Scratch Coding and create games to share with you.  Our ultimate goal was to create games that teach the player something or help them practice a skill. For some of us, coding was brand new and the education part of the game was the creation of the game itself. Please scroll down to see all the games. Unless otherwise instructed, press the green flag to start the game. Have fun!

Ball Drawing

Instructions:

Use the ball to create your works of art!  Press E to start drawing. Click where you would like your line to go and press E to make the line.
Up Arrow = makes line thicker
0 (zero) = erase
Q=pen up
J=changes pen colour

Lost in the Woods

Instructions:

Options should appear that allow you to progress the story, click one with cursor to make a choice.

There are multiple endings.

after you die or get any ending restart by clicking green flag.

There should be a skip beginning cutscene option if you do not want to watch it.

Answer to the Universe

Instructions:

Use A to move right.
Use D to move left.
Use W to jump.

Run to Tahiti

Instructions:

Press space to jump. Run to Tahiti.

Shooter Game

Instructions:

Space=shoot

WASD=move don’t die

Tower Defense Sigma Game

Shoot the Zombies

Instructions:

Use the up, down, left,right arrows to move and grab power ups.  The red one’s to shoot faster and the green to heal.

Instructions:

Use the arrow keys to navigate Winnie the Pooh the maze and make your way to the exit.

The A-maze-ing Game

Instructions:

Use the arrow keys to navigate the maze and make your way to the end.
