Our interactive outdoor education programs challenge, inspire and enlighten youth in a positive and exciting environment. Through a combination of teamwork initiatives, active outdoor activities and engaging instruction, shy students shine, new stars emerge, accomplishments bolster confidence, bonds form through shared experience, challenges are overcome and students learn leadership, teamwork and initiative.

We delight in the diversity of our school partners and are proud to work with many exceptional public schools, Francophone and French Immersion schools, as well as highly regarded independent schools such as Waldorf, Montessori, First Nations community schools, and homeschool groups. For many schools, the annual Strathcona trip is a rite of passage for their students and an integral part of their school community.

Cedar Coast Field Station programs provide an opportunity for learners to develop a more ecologically grounded perspective directly through curriculum, and indirectly through place-based experiential learning. We believe fostering an ecological perspective, for all ages, is of great importance since education influences attitude, and attitude reveals the environmental policies we stand by.

We encourage educators of all disciplines to run programs through the Cedar Coast Field Station and contribute to a creative, interdisciplinary learning environment.
