If your work\u00a0\u00a0computer looks a little different lately, it has probably been updated to Windows 11. This brings\u00a0a fresh look and a few helpful new features (but yes, the first thing I did was move the Task Bar at the bottom\u00a0back to the left).\u00a0\u00a0Another new update-we have the opportunity to test\u00a0Microsoft\u00a0Copilot\u2019s \u201cStudy & Learn\u201d\u00a0for students 13+, designed to support student understanding and practice in new ways. Here\u2019s a quick overview to help you get comfortable with what\u2019s new and what\u2019s coming next\u2026\u200b Oh, and if you are interested in bringing your class to see this year’s Code Quest Arcade at Lake Trail on May 13th let me know \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

Here are some of the Windows 11 Changes:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccd\u00a0Start Menu is in the Center<\/span><\/h3>\n

Your Start button and apps may now be\u00a0centered<\/strong>\u00a0on the taskbar instead of the left.<\/p>\n

Right-click the taskbar \u2192 click on\u00a0Taskbar settings \u2192 \u200bthen\u00a0bar Behaviors \u2192Taskbar alignment \u2192 Left\u200b\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Windows 11 makes it easier to organize your screen.<\/div>\n
How to try it:<\/strong><\/div>\n

  1. Hover over the\u00a0maximize button<\/strong>\u00a0on any window<\/li>\n
  2. Choose a layout (side\u2011by\u2011side, grid, etc.)<\/li>\n
  3. Click where you want the window to snap<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Your files are all still there\u2014just with updated visuals.<\/p>\n
