Exciting news . . . . printing can now be done from district iPads at school.\u00a0 Each school is assigned one printer for the iPads\u00a0to print to\u00a0(usually the library printer).\u00a0 Printing can be done from any app on the iPad although the process may be different for each one.\u00a0 Thank you Shannon for writing\u00a0this tech tip and Jane, Shannon, John and Shaun for all of their work making this happen!<\/p>\n

Below is the link to the webpage that houses the set of instructions, both printed and in video form.\u00a0 Click on the image to access it.\u00a0 The video demonstrates how to print from a variety of apps on the iPad.<\/p>\n

The Printing Process:<\/strong>\u200b<\/p>\n

1. Open app to print from.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Click on the Share icon.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Select the Print option.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Select the printer (only one option listed).<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Print.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Sign in using the SD71 username and login (same as for logging into the computers).\u00a0 OK.

(Note: the process is slightly different for the Office products (Word, PowerPoint).\u00a0 The instructions for this are\u00a0located at 1:25\u00a0in the video.)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
