Spring Break is just about here,\u00a0and we just can’t resist sharing a couple of\u200b techie online Easter Eggs with you.\u00a0 Tech Easter eggs are undocumented hidden messages or features that the developers have hidden in software.\u00a0 But first, a little reminder about using “Reply all” in your emails.\u00a0Before hitting “Reply All” on an email, please ask yourself: “Does everyone on this list need to see my response?” \u00a0I know it is an embarrassing mistake that I\u00a0have made\u00a0before. If you hit\u00a0“Reply all” as your email reply, you may accidentally have it set as your default. Read below for a couple of fun Easter Eggs and some instructions to make sure that “Reply All” is not your default for email replies.<\/p>\n

Easter Eggs:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 In\u00a0The Edge Browser<\/strong>\u00a0(yes, we might be promoting this one a bit) type in\u00a0e\u200bdge:\/\/surf<\/strong>\u00a0at the top where you type in URLs. You will get a fun surfing game!\u00a0 Before the game starts, type in\u00a0Microsoft<\/strong>\u00a0and you will get unlimited lives.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 I suppose I shouldn’t leave out\u00a0 Google\u00a0Chrome. If you type in\u00a0chrome:\/\/dino<\/strong>\u00a0you will get that fun dino game the kids always play when the internet is down.\u200b You do have to be in Google Chrome for it to work.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 \u200bThe hidden emoji game in\u00a0Instagram<\/strong>\u00a0– my daughter told me about this one.\u00a0 Use Direct\u00a0Message (dm) to send someone an emoji. They can then press on it to open a pong game.\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

How to Make Sure Reply All is not your Default<\/strong><\/p>\n

For your online email, open your\u00a0Outlook email<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Click on the\u00a0Settings\u00a0<\/strong>Wheel in the top right<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Click on\u00a0Mail<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Click on\u00a0Compose and reply<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Click on\u00a0<\/strong>the circle that has “Reply<\/strong>” under\u00a0Reply or Reply all\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Outlook App on a Cell Phone:<\/b><\/div>\n
If you are using the Outlook app on an iphone, the default is “Reply all” when the email was sent to\u00a0more than\u00a0one person.\u00a0 You have to make sure that you press on the arrow beside the\u00a0 “Reply All” button and hold it down until you see the Reply option.<\/div>\n
