These resources are tied directly to specific competencies\/content from the new BC Curriculum, and students must be able to demonstrate their learning using these resources.<\/p>\n<h3>SLRF K-9<\/h3>\n<p>A website has been developed to assist home learning families. Click the links below to learn more about&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/learn71.ca\/navigate-handbooks\/k-9-student-funding-101\/\">Policy guidelines and forms<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/learn71.ca\/navigate-handbooks\/k-9-resources-by-subject\/\">Suggested resources for all subjects<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">When finished doing your part, please forward the request to <a href=\"mailto:slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca\">slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is my part?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After families complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navigatenides.com\/index.php\/slrf-request-form\/\">SLRF request form<\/a>, the form will go to your inbox &#8211; please make sure you follow up in a timely manner so families receive their resources as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the resource request meets the needs of the student&#8217;s learning plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the form has been filled out correctly and all necessary information is there.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the request information on the SLP document.<\/li>\n<li>Forward the request to <a href=\"mailto:slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca\">slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca<\/a> and include the following in the body of the email;\n<ul>\n<li>Resource has been added to SLP<\/li>\n<li>SLP has been signed by parent<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of Engagement has been completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>**NEW: Group SLRF Request Form**<\/h3>\n<p>By popular request, we continue to revise a\u00a0 process for group submissions (not for multiple siblings in a\u00a0 family).<\/p>\n<h5>Click<a href=\"https:\/\/www.navigatenides.com\/index.php\/group-slrf-request-form\/\"> <strong>here <\/strong><\/a>for access to the online form. As with all requests, when submitted, the form will go to your inbox. Once you have done your part, forward on to slrf_request@apps.nides.bc.ca for processing.<\/h5>\n<p>Important!! You will have to collect PDFs of the current SLRF policy form and upload to the Division folder BEFORE forwarding the request.<\/p>\n<p>If you find yourself waiting on a few stragglers, <em>ask the vendor to prepare\/revise the invoice to include <strong>ONLY those who are ready to be processed<\/strong><\/em>, and then submit the separate group request for the rest later. Our beta test demonstrated that when a group request is submitted prematurely, it adds an excessive amount of work and follow-up for everyone involved and defeats the intention of a group request.<\/p>\n<p>You will also need to ensure learning intentions are clear in the SLP.
