Open Dyslexic Font Extension and Installed font

 

Extensions FEATURES:

• Extension th​​​at can be  added to Google Chrome Browser or Edge Browser
• Changes the font across websites and online application like Office 365 and Brightspace to the Open Dyslexic Font
• Heavier weighted font helps to ground letters for some students

Font Packages:

Open Dyslexic Font has been added to Installed Microsoft Word on all Comox Valley School District computers. Open the Word application installed on your staff computer. On the Home Tab select the font box and type Open Dyslexic and select that font. See the Tip Sheet below for other font packages installed on SD71 computers in Word (Installed). If you would like access to the font packages to install on non Comox Valley School computers please email the IThelpdesk@sd71.bc.ca

Voice Dream Reader app on the iPad has the option of Open Dyslexic and Dyslexie fonts.
